1st International Forum on Interdisciplinary Research
intends to involve undergraduateand graduate students.


The 1st International Forum on Interdisciplinary Researchintends to involve undergraduateand graduate students, basic education teachers andresearchers and professors fromvarious higher education institutions in Brazil andthe Latin American region, as well as ageneral public interested in interdisciplinary themes,as well as directly and indirectlyinvolved in intercultural and plural panoramas. Inthis sense, the participants involved will beable to promote discussions with several nationaland foreign researchers based on theirown themes and research. Through the interdisciplinaryapproach, it is expected that thepromotion of such dialogues will allow the deepeningof the relationships between objects,forms of investigation and researchers from differentbackgrounds.


The Thematic Symposia (ST) offer space for the presentationand discussion of ongoing orcompleted research, with the aim of bringing togetherresearchers interested in transversaland comprehensive themes and approaches, providinginterdisciplinary dialogues.
Proposals can have up to 3 coordinators, with at least one PhD and the others with aminimum degree of Master, preferably from differentinstitutions.
PROPOSALS MUST CONTAIN:
- Title
- Names of coordinators and institutional affiliation
- Abstract (up to 200 words, containing a brief presentationof the topic, justification,objectives and expected profile of the participations)
- Keywords (maximum 5)
To be accepted proposals must contribute to the objectiveof stimulating the interrelationshipbetween disciplinary fields, the circulation of differentideas and the reinforcement of theinterdisciplinary perspective, providing exchangesbetween researchers with different viewsand from different locations.

The proposals willbe analyzed by the Organizing Committeeand by the Local Scientific Committee and a list ofapproved Symposia will be disclosed, toopen registration to all Forum participants. Theevaluation of the Communication proposalsin each ST will be carried out by the coordinators,in accordance with guidelines sent by theOrganizing Committee. The management of ST activitiesduring the event, including thedistribution of communications, will be under theresponsibility of the coordinators, with theparticipation of a monitor chosen by the OrganizingCommittee for possible aids andfrequency control
